The 1554H2GY is a larger-footprint 1554 enclosure, a nominal 180 x 120 x 61 mm, molded in light gray (RAL 7035) polycarbonate with a gray flat lid. It gives OEM designers and panel builders room for a longer circuit board or a row of DIN rail devices in a sealed, UL listed housing suitable for outdoor use.
The drawing shows a 180.00 x 120.00 mm footprint and 60.50 mm overall height, with an inside length of 172.91 mm, inside width of 108.91 mm and inside height of 54.50 mm. The part page lists a maximum PC board of 106.68 x 167.13 mm. Internal features include M3 brass inserts, standoffs for #6 self-tapping screws, card guides for 1.5 mm boards and molded DIN rail tabs, and the 1554HPL steel inner panel is available separately.
Gray polycarbonate is UL94-5VA rated (the drawing notes 5VA at 3 mm) and UV stabilized for outdoor use. The 1554H2GY is rated IP68 and NEMA 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13, is cUL and UL 508A listed under file E65324, carries an IK08 impact rating and is recommended for -40°C to +110°C.
Per the drawing, the purchased assembly includes the box, lid, four cover screws and a preformed silicone gasket (supplied loose). The stainless steel M4-0.7 x 20 mm cover screws have a recommended torque of 43-57 ozf-in (30-40 cN-m) and are replaced as SC576-50; the black silicone replacement gasket is 1554HGASKET (pkg 2). Wall-mount through 4X Ø4.00 mm holes outside the gasket channel or add the 1554FT foot kit. Shipping weight is 0.7 lbs (0.32 kg); REACH and RoHS compliant.
