The 1554H2GYCL is the clear-lid version of the 180 x 120 x 61 mm 1554H enclosure. A transparent polycarbonate flat lid over a light gray (RAL 7035) polycarbonate base lets technicians check displays, LEDs or DIN rail devices at a glance, while keeping the enclosure sealed.
Listed at UL94 V-0 (the series rating for clear lids), the part is cUL and UL 508A listed under file E65324, rated IP68 and NEMA 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13, and carries an IK08 impact rating. Polycarbonate versions are UV stabilized for outdoor use and have a recommended operating range of -40°C to +110°C.
Per the drawing, the enclosure measures 180.00 x 120.00 mm with a 60.50 mm overall height, and inside provides 172.91 mm of length, 108.91 mm of width and 54.50 mm of height. The part page lists a maximum PC board of 106.68 x 167.13 mm. Boards and inner panels mount on M3 brass inserts (the drawing lists 1591MM100 M3 screws) or #6 self-tapping standoffs (1598ATS100 screws), the card guides take 1.5 mm boards, and DIN rail tabs are molded in. The 1554HPL steel inner panel is ordered separately.
The drawing notes the purchased assembly includes box, lid, four cover screws and a preformed silicone gasket, which is supplied loose. Recommended cover screw torque is 43-57 ozf-in (30-40 cN-m). Mount the 1554H2GYCL with the 4X Ø4.00 mm holes outside the gasket channel or the 1554FT foot kit. It ships shrink wrapped at 0.7 lbs (0.32 kg) and is REACH and RoHS compliant.
