Hammond 1554GGY 120x90x80mm Tall Gray ABS Watertight Enclosure

The 1554GGY is the general purpose ABS version of the tall 1554G enclosure: light gray (RAL 7035) ABS with a gray lid and a nominal size of 120 x 90 x 80 mm. It is intended for indoor applications that need a gasketed, tall housing for components, terminals or boards.

Size data differs slightly between sources. The part page gives 4.7 x 3.5 x 3.15 in (119 x 89 x 80 mm), the ordering table lists 120 x 90 mm with 81 mm total height, and the short description reads "120X90X90MM". The drawing shows 120.00 x 90.00 mm with an 80.50 mm overall height and inside dimensions of 112.39 x 78.39 x 74.50 mm. The part page lists a maximum PC board of 77.47 x 108.41 mm.

ABS versions use general purpose material rated UL94-HB for indoor use; they are not UL listed but have been tested to and meet IP66, carry an IK07 impact rating and are recommended for -20°C to +60°C (-4°F to +140°F). Inside, the 1554GGY provides M3 brass inserts, #6 self-tapping standoffs, card guides for 1.5 mm boards and molded DIN rail tabs, with the 1554FPL steel inner panel available separately.

The lid is sealed by a two piece tongue and groove joint and a one-piece silicone gasket supplied loose, and closed with four included M4 stainless steel self-captivating screws. Four Ø4.00 mm wall-mounting holes sit outside the gasket channel and accept the 1554FT foot kit. REACH and RoHS compliant; ships shrink wrapped at 0.49 lbs (0.22 kg).
