Hammond 1554EEGY 90x90x91mm Gray ABS Watertight Enclosure, IP66

1554EEGY is the tall version of the square 90 x 90 mm footprint: a general purpose ABS watertight enclosure in light gray RAL 7035 at 3.54 x 3.54 x 3.58 in (90 x 90 x 91 mm). With 84.50 mm [3.33 in] of inside height it gives room for DIN rail devices, terminal blocks or taller PCB assemblies in indoor installations.

Internal mounting includes molded DIN rail tabs, threaded M3 brass inserts, standoffs for #6 self-tapping screws and molded vertical card guides for 1.5 mm boards. Floor space inside is 82.13 x 78.06 mm and the listed maximum PC board is 77.47 x 78.41 mm. It shares the 1554EPL steel inner panel with the size E enclosures.

The flat lid seals through a two-piece tongue and groove joint and a one-piece, replaceable, high temperature UL listed silicone gasket that ships loose inside. Four included M4 stainless steel machine screws, self-captivating, thread into corrosion resistant inserts for repeated opening; recommended torque is 43-57 oz f-in (30-40 cN-m).

The ABS is rated UL94 HB. The enclosure has been tested to IP66, carries an IK07 impact rating per IEC 62262:2021 and is not UL listed; it is meant for indoor use at -20°C to +60°C (-4°F to +140°F). Four 4 mm mounting holes outside the gasket channel take wall fasteners or the 1554FT foot kit. The 1554EEGY ships shrink wrapped at 0.3 lbs (0.14 kg) and is REACH and RoHS compliant.
