The 1554EE2GY is a tall, square polycarbonate watertight enclosure in light gray RAL 7035, 3.54 x 3.54 x 3.58 in (90 x 90 x 91 mm), with a solid gray lid. Its 84.50 mm [3.33 in] inside height makes it a good match for DIN rail components and taller assemblies installed outdoors or in wet areas.
Polycarbonate versions are UV stabilized for outdoor use; the solid gray material is rated UL94-5VA. The enclosure is cUL and UL 508A listed under file E65324 and independently tested to IP66, IP67 and IP68, plus NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13. It carries an IK08 impact rating per IEC 62262:2021 and a recommended operating range of -40°C to +110°C (-40°F to +230°F).

The lid closes on a two-piece tongue and groove joint with a one-piece high temperature silicone gasket, supplied loose for installation, and four included self-captivating M4 stainless steel screws threaded into corrosion resistant inserts (43-57 oz f-in / 30-40 cN-m). The 1554EPL steel inner panel and 1554FT foot kit fit this size. Shipping weight of the 1554EE2GY is 0.35 lbs (0.16 kg).
