1554EE2GYCL is the clear-lid version of the tall square 1554EE enclosure: a light gray RAL 7035 polycarbonate box measuring 3.54 x 3.54 x 3.58 in (90 x 90 x 91 mm) under a clear polycarbonate lid. It suits DIN rail devices, meters or displays that need to be read in place while staying sealed.
The enclosure is UV stabilized for outdoor use, cUL and UL 508A listed under file E65324, and independently tested to IP66, IP67 and IP68 as well as NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13. The clear lid carries a UL94 V-0 rating. Impact resistance is IK08 per IEC 62262:2021, and the recommended operating temperature is -40°C to +110°C (-40°F to +230°F).
Inside you get 82.13 x 78.06 mm of floor and 84.50 mm of height, with molded DIN rail tabs, threaded M3 brass inserts, standoffs for #6 self-tapping screws and card guides for 1.5 mm boards. Maximum PC board size is 77.47 x 78.41 mm, and the 1554EPL steel inner panel is sold separately.
A two-piece tongue and groove lid and one-piece high temperature silicone gasket (supplied loose) keep out oil, dust and water, and four included self-captivating M4 stainless steel screws fasten into corrosion resistant inserts at 43-57 oz f-in (30-40 cN-m). Four 4 mm mounting holes outside the gasket take wall screws or the 1554FT foot kit. The 1554EE2GYCL ships at 0.35 lbs (0.16 kg).
