The 1554EE2GYSL is a tall, square light gray RAL 7035 polycarbonate enclosure fitted with a smoked polycarbonate lid. Outside it measures 3.54 x 3.54 x 3.58 in (90 x 90 x 91 mm); inside there is 84.50 mm [3.33 in] of height for DIN rail parts and taller electronics that should remain visible through a tinted cover.
As a polycarbonate version it is UV stabilized for outdoor use and cUL and UL 508A listed under file E65324. Independent testing covers IP66, IP67 and IP68 plus NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13. The smoked lid is rated UL94 V-0, the enclosure carries an IK08 impact rating per IEC 62262:2021, and the recommended operating temperature runs from -40°C to +110°C (-40°F to +230°F).

The lid is gasketed with a one-piece high temperature silicone seal in a two-piece tongue and groove joint; the gasket is supplied loose. Four included self-captivating M4 stainless steel machine screws thread into corrosion resistant inserts, with a recommended torque of 43-57 oz f-in (30-40 cN-m). The 1554EE2GYSL is REACH and RoHS compliant and ships shrink wrapped at 0.35 lbs (0.16 kg).
