Hammond 1486G48 48-Inch 12x12 Type 4/12 Wiring Trough, Gray

The 1486G48 is a four-foot, 12 in x 12 in x 48 in (305 mm x 305 mm x 1,219 mm) Type 4/12 wiring trough. Its 12.00 in height and depth leave ample room to enclose and protect multiple wiring junctions from dirt, dust, oil and water along a 48-inch run on a machine or plant wall.

The 1486 Series build uses formed 14 gauge steel with smooth continuously welded seams. A butt hinged cover is fastened with easily operated stainless steel screw clamps, and oil resistant gaskets are permanently secured. Trough and cover are finished in ANSI 61 gray powder coating.

The drawing shows a 46.73 in top opening, an 11.25 in side opening and a door 48.38 in long and 11.25 in, with 46.73 in x 10.73 in of clear space available on the door. The 0.31 in mounting holes are spaced 46.75 in lengthwise and 12.75 in across.

Welded 12 gauge external mounting feet carry the trough, with a 13.50 in overall width across the feet. Shipping weight is 62 lbs (28.12 kg).

The 1486G48 is listed to UL 870 Type 1, 12, 4 (UL File E186830) and CSA Type 1, 12, 4 (Cert. LL21312), complies with NEMA Type 12, 4 and IEC 60529 IP66, and is RoHS and REACH compliant.
