Hammond 1486D24SS 6x6x24-Inch Type 4X Stainless Wiring Trough

The 1486D24SS is a two-foot, 6 in x 6 in Type 4X wiring trough in the 1486SS Series. It is designed to enclose and protect multiple wiring junctions from dirt, dust, oil and water while providing a measure of corrosion protection, for integrators, electricians and OEM engineers wiring machines and control equipment.

The body is formed 14 gauge 304 stainless steel joined with smooth continuously welded seams. A butt hinged cover is secured with easily operated screw clamps, and oil resistant gaskets are permanently secured to maintain the seal. Trough and cover share a natural stainless steel, smooth brushed finish.

Size is 6 in x 6 in x 24 in (152 mm x 152 mm x 610 mm). On the drawing the opening measures 23.21 in, the door 24.38 in and the side-view overall height 7.50 in. The shipping weight is 26 lbs (11.79 kg).

The 12 gauge external mounting feet are welded to the back, and the drawing shows 0.31 in holes spaced 6.69 in across and 22.75 in along the length.
