Hammond 1485BM2 2 Inch Nipple for 2.5x2.5 NEMA 12 Wireway

The Hammond 1485BM2 is a 2" nipple for 2.5 x 2.5 N12 wireway in the 1485 M Series. It gives installers a mid-length connecting piece when a 1" nipple is too short to bridge the space between wireway and an enclosure or other component.

Built from steel with a gray finish, the 1485BM2 measures 1.99 in long on its drawing. The square end flange is 3.88 in, the body is 3.13 in and the inside opening is 2.36 in, with 0.28 in diameter mounting holes. The kit includes one flat sealing plate.

Plan the layout with the series note in mind: lay-in nipples come with a special sealing plate which cannot be used adjacent to swivel nipples, and 1487 Series nipples should be used there instead.
