Hammond 1485CM3 3 Inch Nipple for 4x4 NEMA 12 Wireway

The Hammond 1485CM3 is a 3" nipple for 4 x 4 N12 wireway, the longest of the 4 x 4 nipples in the 1485 M Series. It helps installers span a wider gap between a 4 x 4 lay-in wireway and an enclosure or adjacent fitting without cutting a full straight section.

The nipple is steel with a gray finish and measures 3.00 in long on its drawing. It has a 5.38 in square flange, a 4.63 in body and a 3.86 in inside opening, plus 0.28 in diameter mounting holes and 0.38 in corner radii.

One flat sealing plate is included with the part. The series notes that lay-in nipples come with a special sealing plate which cannot be used adjacent to swivel nipples, where 1487 Series nipples are recommended instead.
