The 1472-36W adds a 36 in writing surface to the front of a 1472 Series Type 12 modular console. It fastens to the console front with screws, giving the operator a steel shelf below the sloped control and instrument panels, a practical spot for procedures, logs or a keyboard at a control station.
Construction is formed and welded 14 gauge steel. The 1472 Series finish is phosphatized ANSI 61 gray powder coating, so the writing surface matches the base console and turret it is installed with.
