The 1472-36T is the 36 in wide turret for the 1472 Series Type 12 modular console cabinet. Mounted on top of a base console, it provides an additional sloping instrument panel for operator controls or instrumentation, extending the console's capacity for electrical, electronic, hydraulic or pneumatic control equipment.
The turret is formed and welded from 14 gauge steel. Its sloping instrument panel and vertical rear access are completely removable, fastened with captive panel screws that thread into sealed wells, which keeps wiring and service access straightforward. Cover and enclosure are phosphatized and powder coated ANSI 61 gray inside and outside, matching the rest of the 1472 system.
