Hammond 1472-24W 24-Inch Writing Surface for Modular Console

The 1472-24W is the 24 in writing surface accessory for the 1472 Series Type 12 modular console cabinet. It fastens to the front of the console with screws to give operators a shelf in front of the sloped control and instrument panels, useful for notes, logs or a keyboard at a console that houses electrical, electronic, hydraulic or pneumatic controls.

The writing surface is formed and welded from 14 gauge steel. Like other 1472 components, it is phosphatized and finished in ANSI 61 gray powder coating, so it matches the base console and turret.
