Hammond 1435S 16-Hole 30.5mm Type 12 Steel Pushbutton Enclosure

The 1435S is a sixteen-hole pushbutton enclosure for 30.5mm operators and the largest size in the 1435 Series of Type 12 mild steel pushbutton enclosures. It accepts standard heavy duty oil tight pushbuttons, switches and pilot lights, giving plant engineers and OEM builders a single station for a large set of 30.5mm controls and indicators.

It is built from formed 16 gauge steel with smooth continuously welded seams, and the cover and enclosure are phosphatized and finished in ANSI 61 gray powder coating. The internally hinged removable cover is designed to hold the cover open during wiring. Captive cover screws thread into sealed wells over an oil resistant gasket and adhesive, and a bonding stud (door) and grounding stud (enclosure) are provided.

The 1435 Series is UL 508A Type 12 and 13 and CSA Type 12 and 13 listed (UL File E65324, CSA LR21001) and complies with NEMA Type 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP54 for protection from dirt, dust, oil and water. Appropriate components are required to maintain these standards. The 1435S is RoHS and REACH compliant and ships boxed at 9 lbs (4.08 kg).
