The 1435K is a nine-hole Type 12 mild steel pushbutton enclosure that holds nine 30.5 mm heavy duty oil tight pushbuttons, switches and pilot lights. At 9.5 x 8.5 x 3 in (241 x 216 x 76 mm) it creates a compact multi-function operator station for machinery and process equipment, protecting devices from dirt, dust, oil and water.
An internally hinged removable cover is designed to hold the cover open during wiring, a practical feature when terminating nine devices. Construction is formed 16 gauge steel with smooth continuously welded seams, phosphatized and finished in ANSI 61 gray powder coating. Captive cover screws thread into sealed wells, the gasket is oil resistant with adhesive, and a bonding stud (door) and grounding stud (enclosure) are provided.
Welded brackets provide for mounting. The part drawing shows 10.50 in overall height across the brackets, 0.25 in mounting holes spaced 10.00 in vertically and 7.63 in horizontally, a 9.86 x 8.87 in door with an 8.37 x 6.92 in opening, and 1.21 in diameter pushbutton holes.
