Hammond 1427NCGPG21G PG21 Gray Nylon Cordgrip for 13-18 mm Cable

The 1427NCGPG21G is the gray (RAL 7035) version of Hammond's PG21 nylon cordgrip, a liquid-tight cable gland for cable entering or leaving an enclosure. It is sized for cable between 13 mm (0.51 in) and 18 mm (0.71 in) in diameter, making it a fit for integrators and facilities teams routing medium-gauge cable into gray housings.

Its nylon body houses an NBR (nitrile rubber) seal behind a large opening, so it accepts a wide range of cable diameters. As the cap is tightened, the strain relief elements close in a circular sequence on the sealing ring, securing the cable without twisting or damaging it. Each part comes with a nylon locknut and an EPDM o-ring.

The 1427NCG series offers IP68 protection and is designed to meet NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13. It is UL listed with a UL94 V-2 rating and is RoHS and REACH compliant, operating from -40°C to 100°C static (up to 120° instantaneous) and -20°C to 80°C dynamic (up to 100° instantaneous).
