Hammond 1427NCGPG19G PG19 Gray Nylon Liquid-Tight Cordgrip, IP68

Where a light-colored enclosure calls for a matching cable entry, the 1427NCGPG19G is the gray (RAL 7035) PG19 member of the 1427NCG nylon cordgrip family. It gives a liquid-tight seal and strain relief for round cable from 12 mm to 15 mm (0.47-0.59 in) as it passes into or out of a housing.

Inside the nylon body, an NBR (nitrile rubber) seal closes around the cable, while strain relief elements tighten in a circular sequence on the sealing ring so the cable is held without being twisted or damaged. Each gland ships with a nylon locknut and an EPDM o-ring.

For the best seal, Hammond recommends using the cordgrip with the smallest maximum diameter that still fits the cable, so the 1427NCGPG19G suits cables whose outside diameter falls within its 12-15 mm window.

Protection is rated IP68, and the series is designed to meet NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13. The nylon has a UL94 V-2 flammability rating; the gland is UL listed and RoHS and REACH compliant. Operating temperature: static -40°C to 100°C (up to 120° instantaneous), dynamic -20°C to 80°C (up to 100° instantaneous).
