Hammond 1427NCGM20G 12 mm Cable, IP68 M20x1.5 Gray Nylon Cordgrip, 6

The 1427NCGM20G is a gray nylon M20x1.5 cordgrip from the 1427NCG liquid-tight series. It seals and strain-relieves a cable where it enters or leaves an enclosure, and the RAL 7035 gray colour lets panel builders and OEM designers match light-gray enclosures.

It is rated for cable from 6 mm (0.24 in) to 12 mm (0.47 in). An NBR (nitrile rubber) seal and large opening accept a wide range of diameters, and the strain relief elements tighten in a circular sequence on the sealing ring to secure the cable without twisting or damaging it. The 1427NCGM20G mounts in a 20 mm (0.79 in) hole with an outer length (L) of 27 mm (1.06 in) and inner thread length (T) of 9 mm (0.35 in). A nylon locknut and EPDM o-ring are included. For M20 (small), guide torque is 3.5–4.5 N-m on the sealing nut and 2.5–3.5 N-m on the locknut; actual values can vary depending on the application.

The series is designed to meet NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13 with IP68 protection, has a UL94 V-2 flammability rating and is UL listed. Static operation is -40°C to 100°C (up to 120° instantaneous); dynamic is -20°C to 80°C (up to 100° instantaneous). RoHS and REACH compliant; ships in a bag at 0.03 lbs (0.01 kg).
