Hammond 1427NCGM20LG 14 mm M20x1.5 Large-Range Gray Nylon Cordgrip, 10

The 1427NCGM20LG is the gray, large-range version of the M20x1.5 nylon cordgrip in the 1427NCG series. It forms a liquid-tight, strain-relieved entry where a cable enters or leaves an enclosure, in RAL 7035 gray for integrators and OEM designers working with light-gray housings.

It accepts cable from 10 mm (0.39 in) to 14 mm (0.55 in) while fitting the same 20 mm (0.79 in) mounting hole as the standard M20 size. The NBR (nitrile rubber) seal and large opening take a wide range of diameters, and the strain relief elements tighten in a circular sequence on the sealing ring for grip without twisting or damaging the cable. Use the cordgrip with the smallest maximum diameter that fits.

Outer length (L) of the 1427NCGM20LG is 28 mm (1.10 in) and inner thread length (T) is 9 mm (0.35 in). A nylon locknut and EPDM o-ring are included. For M20 (large), the torque guide is 4–5 N-m on the sealing nut and 3.5–4.5 N-m on the locknut; actual values can vary depending on the application.

The series is designed to meet NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13 with protection to IP68, carries a UL94 V-2 flammability rating and is UL listed. Operating temperatures are -40°C to 100°C static (up to 120° instantaneous) and -20°C to 80°C dynamic (up to 100° instantaneous). RoHS and REACH compliant; bag packed at 0.03 lbs (0.01 kg).
