Hammond 1427NCGM20LB 14 mm M20x1.5 Large-Range Black Nylon Cordgrip, 10

The 1427NCGM20LB is the large-range M20x1.5 black nylon cordgrip in the 1427NCG series. It fits the same 20 mm (0.79 in) mounting hole as the standard M20 size while accepting thicker cable, giving installers and panel builders a liquid-tight, strain-relieved entry where a cable enters or leaves an enclosure.

Cable range is 10 mm (0.39 in) to 14 mm (0.55 in). The large opening and NBR (nitrile rubber) seal accept a wide range of diameters, and the strain relief elements tighten in a circular sequence on the sealing ring to hold the cable without twisting or damaging it. The manufacturer advises choosing the cordgrip with the smallest maximum diameter that fits.

The 1427NCGM20LB has an outer length (L) of 28 mm (1.10 in) and an inner thread length (T) of 9 mm (0.35 in), and it ships with a nylon locknut and EPDM o-ring. The torque table lists M20 (large) at 4–5 N-m for the sealing nut and 3.5–4.5 N-m for the locknut, as a guide that can vary depending on the application.

Finished in black (RAL 9005), the series is designed to meet NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13 with IP68 protection, has a UL94 V-2 flammability rating and is UL listed. Static operating temperature is -40°C to 100°C (up to 120° instantaneous); dynamic is -20°C to 80°C (up to 100° instantaneous). RoHS and REACH compliant; bagged at 0.03 lbs (0.01 kg).
