Hammond 1427NCGM16LB 10 mm M16x1.5 Large-Range Black Nylon Cordgrip, 5

The 1427NCGM16LB is the large-range M16x1.5 black nylon cordgrip in the 1427NCG series. It keeps the same 16 mm (0.63 in) mounting hole as the standard M16 size but takes bigger cable, making it useful to installers and panel builders who need a slightly larger cable on an M16 entry.

This part accepts cable from 5 mm (0.20 in) to 10 mm (0.39 in) in diameter. The large opening and NBR (nitrile rubber) seal accept a wide range of diameters, and the strain relief elements tighten in a circular sequence on the sealing ring for firm strain relief without twisting or damaging the cable. Choose the cordgrip with the smallest maximum diameter that fits.

The 1427NCGM16LB has an outer length (L) of 25 mm (0.98 in) and an inner thread length (T) of 8 mm (0.31 in). A nylon locknut and EPDM o-ring are included. The torque table lists M16 (large) at 2–3 N-m for both the sealing nut and the locknut, as a guide that can vary depending on the application.

The colour is black (RAL 9005). The series is designed to meet NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13 with IP68 protection, carries a UL94 V-2 flammability rating and is UL listed. Operating temperature is -40°C to 100°C static (up to 120° instantaneous) and -20°C to 80°C dynamic (up to 100° instantaneous). RoHS and REACH compliant; bagged at 0.02 lbs (0.01 kg).
