Hammond 1422N4S16F24FQT 72x72x24 In 316 Stainless Two-Door Floormount Enclosure

The 1422N4S16F24FQT is the largest and deepest enclosure in the 1422 N4 QT SS series: a 316 stainless steel Type 4X two-door floormount enclosure at 72.13 x 72.06 x 24.69 in (1,832 x 1,830 x 627 mm), nominally 72 x 72 x 24. Its drawing shows 24.00 in of usable depth behind a 68 x 68 in inner panel, for housing larger electrical, electronic, hydraulic or pneumatic controls and instruments in areas that are hosed down, very wet or corrosive.

It is formed 12 gauge stainless steel with smooth, continuously welded seams and no knockouts, cutouts or holes. Two continuously hinged doors, removable by pulling the stainless steel hinge pins, are held by quarter turn latches with provision for padlocking. A seamless poured-in place gasket and formed lips on the doors and top of the opening exclude flowing liquids and contaminants. Welded 12 in floor stands carry the enclosure, and heavy duty stainless steel lifting eyebolts are fitted with reinforcing support angles.

The removable 10 gauge inner panel is 68 x 68 in (1,727 x 1,727 mm), white powder coated, and is installed on panel supports and collar studs; the center post removes for easy installation. The drawing shows two door openings of 34.00 in each, 69.38 in high, and 84.13 in overall height including floor stands. A bonding stud on each door with a grounding stud in the enclosure for each door, plus a literature pocket, are provided.

Series standards: UL 508A Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12; CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12; compliance with NEMA Type 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66. The part is listed as RoHS and REACH compliant.
