Hammond 1422N4S16D12FQT 60x60x12 In 316 Stainless Two-Door Floormount Enclosure

The 1422N4S16D12FQT is a 316 stainless steel Type 4X two-door floormount enclosure measuring 60.13 x 60.06 x 12.69 in (1,527 x 1,526 x 322 mm), nominally 60 x 60 x 12. Its square face and 56 x 56 in inner panel suit wide control layouts. The series is designed to house electrical, electronic, hydraulic or pneumatic controls and instruments where equipment may be hosed down, very wet or where corrosion is a serious problem.

It is formed from 12 gauge stainless steel with smooth, continuously welded seams and no knockouts, cutouts or holes. The two continuously hinged doors can be removed by pulling the stainless steel hinge pins, close with quarter turn latches and have provision for padlocking. A seamless poured-in place gasket and formed lips on the doors and top of the opening keep flowing liquids and contaminants out. Welded 12 in floor stands support the enclosure, and heavy duty stainless steel lifting eyebolts with reinforcing support angles aid handling.

The removable 10 gauge inner panel is 56 x 56 in (1,422 x 1,422 mm) with a white powder coat, installed on panel supports and collar studs; the center post is removable to ease installation. The part drawing shows two door openings of 26.55 in each, a door opening height of 57.38 in, 12.00 in of usable depth and 72.13 in overall height including floor stands. A bonding stud on each door, a grounding stud in the enclosure for each door and a literature pocket are provided.

The 1422 N4 QT SS series is listed to UL 508A Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12 and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12, and complies with NEMA Type 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66. The part is RoHS and REACH compliant.
