Hammond 1422N4S16E12FQT 72x60x12 In 316 Stainless Two-Door Floormount Enclosure

The 1422N4S16E12FQT is a 72 in tall Type 4X two-door floormount enclosure in 316 stainless steel, measuring 72.13 x 60.06 x 12.69 in (1,832 x 1,526 x 322 mm), nominally 72 x 60 x 12. It gives a 68 x 56 in inner panel for housing electrical, electronic, hydraulic or pneumatic controls and instruments in locations that may be hosed down, very wet or exposed to serious corrosion.

Construction is formed 12 gauge stainless steel with smooth, continuously welded seams and no knockouts, cutouts or holes. Two continuously hinged doors, removable by pulling their stainless steel hinge pins, close with quarter turn latches and include provision for padlocking. A seamless poured-in place gasket and formed lips on the doors and top of the enclosure opening exclude flowing liquids and contaminants. The enclosure stands on welded 12 in floor stands and has heavy duty stainless steel lifting eyebolts with reinforcing support angles.

The removable 10 gauge inner panel is 68 x 56 in (1,727 x 1,422 mm), white powder coated, and installs on panel supports and collar studs after removing the center post. Per the drawing, the two door openings are 26.55 in each and 69.38 in high, usable depth is 12.00 in and overall height with floor stands is 84.13 in. Each door has a bonding stud with a grounding stud in the enclosure, and a literature pocket is included.

The 1422 N4 QT SS series is listed to UL 508A Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12 and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12, and complies with NEMA Type 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66. The part is RoHS and REACH compliant.
