Hammond 1422N4E12FQT 72x60x12 Type 4 Two-Door Floormount Enclosure

The 1422N4E12FQT is a 72" tall Type 4 mild steel two-door floormount enclosure in the 1422 N4 FM QT Series. It gives control panel builders a tall, 60" wide cabinet for electrical, electronic, hydraulic or pneumatic controls and instruments in locations that may be hosed down, very wet, or outdoors.

Enclosure dimensions are 72.13 in H x 60.06 in W x 12.69 in D (1,832 x 1,526 x 322 mm). As a 72" high model it is formed from combination 10/12 gauge steel, with smooth continuously welded seams free of knockouts, cutouts or holes. The welded 12" floor stands raise the overall height to 84.13 in, and heavy duty lifting eyebolts with reinforcing support angles are fitted. Shipping weight is 645 lbs (292.57 kg).

Behind the two doors is a removable 10 gauge inner panel of 68.00 x 56.00 in (1727 x 1422 mm), finished in white powder coating and mounted on collar studs with panel supports. Each door opening is 26.55 in wide by 69.38 in high, usable depth is 12.03 in, and the center post can be removed for panel installation.

Doors are continuously hinged, sealed with a seamless poured-in place gasket and closed with quarter turn latches, with provision for padlocking. A formed lip on the doors and top of the opening helps keep out flowing liquids. The 1422N4E12FQT is rated UL 508A Type 3R, 4 and 12 and CSA Type 3R, 4 and 12, and complies with NEMA Type 3R, 4, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66. The cabinet is finished in recoatable smooth ANSI 61 gray powder coating.
