Hammond 1422N4F24FQT 72x72x24 Deep Type 4 Two-Door Floormount Enclosure

The 1422N4F24FQT is the deepest enclosure in the 1422 N4 FM QT Series: a Type 4 mild steel two-door floormount cabinet 24.69 in deep. It is aimed at builders housing bulkier electrical, electronic, hydraulic or pneumatic controls and instruments in areas that may be hosed down, very wet, or outdoors.

Overall enclosure dimensions are 72.13 in H x 72.06 in W x 24.69 in D (1,832 x 1,830 x 627 mm), and the drawing shows 24.03 in of usable depth. The body is combination 10/12 gauge formed steel with smooth, continuously welded seams and no knockouts, cutouts or holes. Welded 12" floor stands give an 84.13 in overall height, and heavy duty lifting eyebolts with reinforcing support angles are provided for the 945 lb (428.64 kg) shipping weight.

A removable 10 gauge inner panel of 68.00 x 68.00 in (1727 x 1727 mm) is included, finished in white powder coating and mounted on collar studs with panel supports. Each door opening is 32.55 in wide and 69.38 in high, and the center post is removable for panel installation.

The continuously hinged doors are secured by quarter turn latches, include padlocking provision, and seal on a seamless poured-in place gasket; a formed lip on the doors and top of the opening excludes flowing liquids. Every door has a bonding stud with a matching grounding stud in the enclosure, plus provision for light kit mounting. The 1422N4F24FQT is rated UL 508A Type 3R, 4 and 12 and CSA Type 3R, 4 and 12, and complies with NEMA Type 3R, 4, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66, finished in recoatable smooth ANSI 61 gray powder coating.
