Hammond 1422N4B10FQT 60x48x10 Type 4 Two-Door Floormount Enclosure

The 1422N4B10FQT is a Type 4 mild steel two-door floormount enclosure from the 1422 N4 FM QT Series, built to house electrical, electronic, hydraulic or pneumatic controls and instruments. It suits panel builders and OEM engineers who need a free-standing cabinet for equipment that may be hosed down, get very wet, or sit outdoors where full weather protection is required.

At 60.13 in high, 48.06 in wide and 10.69 in deep (1,527 x 1,221 x 272 mm), this is the shallowest and narrowest size in the series. The 60" body is formed from 12 gauge steel with smooth, continuously welded seams and no knockouts, cutouts or holes. Welded 12" floor stands bring the overall height to 72.13 in, and heavy duty lifting eyebolts with reinforcing support angles aid handling of the 460 lb (208.65 kg) shipping weight.

Two continuously hinged doors close on a seamless poured-in place gasket and are secured with quarter turn latches, with provision for padlocking. Each door opening is 20.55 in wide by 57.38 in high, and a formed lip on the doors and top of the opening helps exclude flowing liquids and contaminants. The doors lift off by pulling the stainless steel hinge pin.

Inside, a removable 10 gauge inner panel measuring 56.00 x 44.00 in (1422 x 1118 mm) is included, finished in white powder coating and mounted on collar studs with panel supports. The center post is removable to ease panel installation, and usable depth is 10.03 in. The enclosure carries UL 508A Type 3R, 4 and 12 and CSA Type 3R, 4 and 12 ratings and complies with NEMA Type 3R, 4, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66. The exterior is recoatable smooth ANSI 61 gray powder coating.
