Hammond 1422N4F12FQT 72x72x12 Type 4 Two-Door Floormount Enclosure

The 1422N4F12FQT is the 72" x 72" footprint, 12" deep version of the 1422 N4 FM QT Series Type 4 mild steel two-door floormount enclosure. It is intended for housing electrical, electronic, hydraulic or pneumatic controls and instruments where equipment may be hosed down or be very wet, and for outdoor installations that need full weather protection.

It measures 72.13 in H x 72.06 in W x 12.69 in D (1,832 x 1,830 x 322 mm). The body is combination 10/12 gauge formed steel, as specified for the series' 72" high enclosures, with smooth continuously welded seams and no knockouts, cutouts or holes. Floor stands of 12" are welded to the enclosure, giving an overall height of 84.13 in, and heavy duty lifting eyebolts with reinforcing support angles support handling of its 790 lb (358.34 kg) shipping weight.

The included removable 10 gauge inner panel is a square 68.00 x 68.00 in (1727 x 1727 mm), the largest panel in the series, finished in white powder coating. Door openings measure 32.55 in wide by 69.38 in high each, usable depth is 12.03 in, and the removable center post opens the full width for panel loading. Collar studs and panel supports are provided.

Both continuously hinged doors close on a seamless poured-in place gasket with quarter turn latches and padlocking provision; the stainless steel hinge pin lets each door be removed. Ratings include UL 508A Type 3R, 4 and 12 and CSA Type 3R, 4 and 12, with compliance to NEMA Type 3R, 4, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66. Finish is recoatable smooth ANSI 61 gray powder coating.
