The 1422N4D12FQT is a 60" high, 60" wide member of the 1422 N4 FM QT Series of Type 4 mild steel two-door floormount enclosures. It is designed to house electrical, electronic, hydraulic or pneumatic controls and instruments for integrators and machine builders working where equipment may be hosed down, get very wet, or be installed outdoors.
The enclosure measures 60.13 in H x 60.06 in W x 12.69 in D (1,527 x 1,526 x 322 mm) and is formed from 12 gauge steel, the gauge the series uses for its 60" high bodies. Seams are smooth and continuously welded with no knockouts, cutouts or holes. The 12" floor stands are welded on, for an overall height of 72.13 in, and heavy duty lifting eyebolts with reinforcing support angles are provided.
This size pairs a square 56.00 x 56.00 in (1422 x 1422 mm) removable 10 gauge inner panel with 12.03 in of usable depth. Each of the two door openings is 26.55 in wide and 57.38 in high, and the removable center post lets the full panel be installed without fighting the frame. Panel supports and collar studs are provided for mounting.
The continuously hinged doors seal on a seamless poured-in place gasket, lock with quarter turn latches, and include padlocking provision, a bonding stud on each door and a literature pocket. Standards: UL 508A Type 3R, 4 and 12; CSA Type 3R, 4 and 12; compliance with NEMA Type 3R, 4, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66. Finish is recoatable smooth ANSI 61 gray powder coating outside with a white powder-coated panel. Shipping weight is 555 lbs (251.74 kg) on a skid.
