Hammond 1418N4SSX24 72x31x24 in 304 SS Clamped Freestanding Enclosure

The 1418N4SSX24 is a 72.06 x 31.06 x 24.06 in (1,830 x 789 x 611 mm) Type 4X freestanding enclosure in 12 gauge 304 stainless steel from the 1418 N4 FS SS Series. It is designed to house electrical, electronic, hydraulic or pneumatic controls with provision for panel mounting or rack mounting of equipment where equipment may be hosed down, very wet, or where corrosion is a serious problem.

Construction features smooth, continuously welded seams without knockouts, cutouts or holes, and a natural brushed stainless finish. The door is supported on a heavy gauge continuous hinge and secured with heavy duty stainless steel clamps against a seamless poured-in-place gasket. Heavy duty stainless steel lifting eyebolts with reinforcing support angles are provided.

Welded mounting channels inside the enclosure take optional inner panels or rack equipment rails, and a grounding stud in the enclosure plus a bonding stud on the door are provided. The 1418N4SSX24 is UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12 (UL File E65324, CSA LR21001), complies with NEMA Type 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66, and carries an EU Low Voltage Directive declaration.
