The 1418N4SSY24 is the widest 304 stainless size in the 1418 N4 FS SS Series: a Type 4X freestanding enclosure measuring 72.06 x 37.06 x 24.06 in (1,830 x 941 x 611 mm). It is designed to house electrical, electronic, hydraulic or pneumatic controls with provision for panel or rack mounting of equipment where equipment may be hosed down, be very wet or face serious corrosion.
It is formed from 12 gauge 304 stainless steel with smooth, continuously welded seams and no knockouts, cutouts or holes. A heavy gauge continuous hinge carries the door, which is secured with heavy duty stainless steel clamps and seals on a seamless poured-in-place gasket. Heavy duty stainless steel lifting eyebolts with reinforcing support angles are provided; cover and enclosure are natural brushed stainless.
The drawing for this part shows a 61.65 x 33.31 in door opening, a 25.09 in inside depth dimension, 60.91 x 32.91 in of clear space available on the door, and a drawing depth of 24.03 in. Welded internal mounting channels accept optional inner panels or rack equipment rails. The optional full size inner panel is 72YFW (white powder paint), and alternative options are also available. A grounding stud in the enclosure and bonding stud on the door are provided.
Ratings: UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12 (UL File E65324, CSA LR21001); complies with NEMA Type 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66; EU Low Voltage Directive declaration; REACH and RoHS compliant. Shipping weight is 415 lbs (188.24 kg) on a skid. The 316 version is 1418N4S16Y24.
