The 1414N4PHSSO6 is the 16 x 14 x 6 in (406 x 356 x 152 mm) size of the 1414 N4 PH SS Series Type 4X stainless steel junction box. With a 14.75 x 12.88 in inner panel it offers more backplane area than the 12 in and 14 in models, for instrument enclosures, terminal wiring enclosures, electrical junction boxes and electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control housings.
It is formed from 16 gauge 304 stainless steel with smooth, continuously welded seams. Cover and enclosure carry a natural stainless steel brushed finish. The continuous stainless steel hinged cover is secured with stainless steel clamps and screws and seals on a seamless poured-in-place gasket, protecting contents where equipment may be hosed down, very wet or subject to corrosion.
According to the drawing, the door opening is 15.30 x 13.30 in, usable depth is 5.35 in, and 15.15 x 13.15 in of clear space is available on the door. The removable 14 gauge inner panel is white powder coated and mounts on tapped studs; a bonding stud on the door and a grounding stud in the enclosure are provided.
Welded brackets with 0.31 in holes on 12.00 x 16.75 in spacing mount the box. It is listed UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 (UL File E65324, CSA LR21001), complies with NEMA Type 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66, and is REACH and RoHS compliant.
