Key Features

  • Interstage: 4000 ohm primary to 600 ohm CT secondary
  • 150 mW output, 1 dB insertion loss
  • 10 mA max primary DC
  • -1 dB low frequency roll-off at 215 Hz
  • DCR 340 ohms primary, 24 ohms secondary (+/- 15%)
  • Bifilar center-tapped secondary
  • Sealed epoxy to MIL-T-27 (Grade 5, Class S); 200 V peak

The 106G is a miniature epoxy-potted interstage audio transformer from the 106 Series, coupling a 4000 ohm primary to a 600 ohm center-tapped secondary. With a 150 mW rating and up to 10 mA of primary DC, it suits P.C. board amplifier designs where one stage drives a balanced 600 ohm stage.

The center-tapped secondary is bifilar wound for balanced resistive and capacitive characteristics. Rugged black epoxy potting produces a completely sealed unit that withstands severe environmental conditions, including those of MIL-T-27 (Grade 5, Class S). Square pins are 0.025 in square typical, and connections that are not used have no pin.

DC resistance is 340 ohms primary and 24 ohms secondary, +/- 15%. Output is 150 mW with 1 dB insertion loss, and the low frequency roll-off is 215 Hz at -1 dB. Maximum primary DC is 10 mA, and peak working voltage is 200 V. The 106G follows drawing figure 7.

The 106G is RoHS and REACH compliant and ships at 0.09 lbs (0.04 kg), UPC 623980181004. Within the 106 Series, the 106H shares the 4000 ohm primary but has a 2600 ohm CT secondary.

Ideal For

  • Amplifier interstage coupling into 600 ohm balanced stages
  • PCB audio drivers with DC in the primary
  • Sealed audio circuits for demanding environments
