Hammond XFF6 6" Aluminum Replacement Air Filter, 3-Pack

The XFF6 is a package of three 6-inch replacement filters for the XF Series filtered fan box system. It is intended for maintenance crews, panel builders and facilities teams who keep enclosure cooling running and need spare filter media on hand for the XFG6 grille and filter assembly, whose drawing lists the XFF6 (package of 3) as its replacement filter accessory.

The filter media is aluminum. According to the XF Series specifications, the aluminum filter is coated with adhesive baffle surfaces that collect dust and dirt, and it can be recoated after cleaning for optimum performance. Filter Coat is listed among the series accessories. The filter grill and air filter are easily accessible and can be removed for cleaning.

The XFF6 is the mid-size filter in the range. Its drawing shows a square pad of 170.00 mm [6.693 in] per side, matched to the 6-inch XFG6 grille. The drawing gives a thickness of 8.00 mm [0.315 in]. The package ships at 1 lbs (0.45 kg).

Within the XF Series, a filtered fan box pulls air into the enclosure while the filter grill serves as the air outlet, and each installation normally needs an additional exhaust grill and filter. Keeping a spare XFF6 pack means a loaded filter can be swapped out quickly while the removed one is cleaned. The part is RoHS compliant and REACH compliant.
