Hammond XFG10 10" Stainless Exhaust Grille with Replaceable Filter

The XFG10 is a 10-inch exhaust grille and filter from the XF Series of filtered fan box accessories. In a typical cooling arrangement the filtered fan box pulls air into the enclosure and the filter grill is used as the air outlet, so the XFG10 is the part integrators and panel builders add to complete the air path. It can also provide filtered passive ventilation on its own for convection cooling.

The XF Series notes that one grill and filter are included with each fan package, and that an additional exhaust grill and filter is normally required for each installation and must be ordered separately. It is the largest grille in the range and weighs 1.88 lbs (0.85 kg), giving the largest filtered opening of the three sizes.

The front screen is polished stainless steel and the brackets are painted grey steel. The assembly is secured with a knurled thumb nut and carries a replaceable filter; the washable aluminum filter grill and air filter are easily accessible and can be removed for cleaning. Replacement filters are sold as the XFF10 (package of 3).

The series ordering table lists the XFG10 at 11.63 in (295 mm) high by 13.00 in (330 mm) wide, with a note that the dimension is for mounting and cabinet cutout and that sheet metal is secured with #10 hardware. The part drawing shows an overall assembly of 330.10 mm [12.996 in] by 295.20 mm [11.622 in] and an assembly cutout of 282.70 mm [11.130 in] square. The part is RoHS and REACH compliant.
