Hammond VFMMD10BK 10in Wide 44U Double-Sided Cable Manager

The VFMMD10BK is a 10 in wide, 44U double-sided vertical cable manager built for high-density cable routing on open frame racks. It manages cables on both the front and rear of the rack, making it suited to data centers, network and telecom rooms, and cross-connect or patching environments where cable volume, structure and airflow all matter.

Construction is a 16-gauge mild steel frame with a high-density finger duct design. Metal fingers are spaced at 2U intervals and clip-on plastic finger guards (shipped loose) help maintain bend radius for fiber, Cat 6/6A and coax cables, reducing strain on heavy-gauge bundles. The finish is a textured black powder coat that is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant. Full-height removable covers provide containment; this part ships with dual hinged doors (a 3-piece 10 in wide door and a 1-piece 10 in wide door) plus mounting hardware.

Overall size is 81 in x 10 in x 24.5 in (2,057 mm x 254 mm x 622 mm), with 77.00 in (1956 mm) of mounting height equal to 44 rack units. The extended 24.5 in depth increases usable cable space compared with standard-depth vertical managers. Estimated fill for the VFMMD10BK is 864 Cat 6 or 600 Cat 6A cables at a 50% fill ratio in the combined front and rear channel opening, rising to 1728 Cat 6 or 1200 Cat 6A at 100% fill, with 28 Cat 6 cables recommended per finger opening.

Managers in this series mount to racks rather than sitting on the floor, and are designed for use between racks to create a centralized cable management spine; a plinth base option supports end-of-row installations. Cable spool mounting slots accept accessory spools, dividers and tie-down points. Made in Canada and TAA-compliant for government procurement.
