Hammond VCT85 85-Inch 48U Vertical Steel Cable Tray

The VCT85 is a full-height vertical cable tray from the VCT Series, intended for routing and supporting vertical cable bundles inside server cabinets. At 85.00 in (2159 mm) of mounting height and 48U of rack units, it suits tall cabinet builds where structured cabling has to run the full height of the enclosure without consuming usable rack space. It is a fit for IT and AV integrators, data center technicians and facilities teams working in network and telecom environments.

Construction is 16-gauge mild steel with folded (flanged) edges that add structural strength and make cable handling and organization easier. The tray is finished in a black powder coat (GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant) for durability, and is manufactured in North America (country of origin CA) as a TAA-compliant, USMCA-compliant part.

Overall dimensions are 85.00 in (2159 mm) high by 3.00 in (76 mm) wide by 0.50 in (13 mm) deep, with an overall drawing height of 85.75 in (2178 mm). Shipping weight is 6 lbs (2.72 kg). The tray body carries 2.00 in x 2.00 in (51 mm x 51 mm) square cutouts, 0.38 x 0.38 in (10 mm x 10 mm) cutouts and 0.28 in x 2.00 in (7 mm x 51 mm) obround slots that serve as tie-down points for cable ties or hook and loop straps, providing strain relief while keeping routing paths open.

Mounting hardware is included for fast installation. The VCT85 is listed as compatible with Hammond C2 and REFK cabinet platforms, as well as compatible third-party enclosures. This model does not include the toolless PDU mounting cutouts found on VCTPDU versions of the series.
