The ST302412SS is the 12 in deep 30 x 24 in size in the Eclipse ST sloped top series. It suits panel builders and OEM engineers who need a tall wallmount Type 4X stainless enclosure with room for deeper equipment, protecting electrical or electronic components in harsh, industrial environments while the sloped top prevents water from resting on top.
It is formed 14 gauge 304 stainless steel with continuously welded seams ground smooth and a smooth brushed natural stainless finish. A formed lip excludes flowing liquids and contaminants, and a seamless poured-in place gasket seals the door. Quarter turn latches require a tool for opening; hinges are 304 stainless with stainless steel hinge pins. The door is removable for modifications and interchangeable.
The ordering table gives H1 30.00 in, H2 34.35 in (872 mm), W 24.00 in and D 12.00 in. The drawing shows a 22.51 in wide by 28.47 in high door opening, a 23.97 in wide door and a 70° slope. The optional EP3024 inner panel, 28.20 x 22.20 in, mounts on the collar studs provided.
Wall mounting holes are 0.50 in diameter on 22.50 x 28.50 in centres, with an included hardware kit of panel mounting nuts and sealing washers. A mounting foot kit is required to maintain UL/CSA external mounting requirements. Bonding and grounding studs are provided on the door and in the body.
The ST302412SS is UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12 rated, complies with NEMA 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66, and ships boxed at 69 lbs (31.30 kg).
