The ST202012SS combines a square 20 x 20 in face with 12 in of depth in the Eclipse ST sloped top range. It fits projects where deeper devices must be enclosed on a wall in harsh, industrial environments, giving integrators and OEMs a Type 4X stainless enclosure whose sloped top prevents water from resting on it.
It is formed from 14 gauge 304 stainless steel with continuously welded seams ground smooth and finished in natural stainless with a smooth brushed look. A formed lip excludes flowing liquids and contaminants and a seamless poured-in place gasket seals the door. Latching is by quarter turns requiring a tool to open. Hinges are 304 stainless and hinge pins stainless steel; the door is removable for modifications and interchangeable.
The ordering table lists H1 20.00 in, H2 24.35 in (618 mm), W 20.00 in and D 12.00 in. The drawing gives an 18.49 in wide by 18.47 in high door opening, a 19.97 in wide door and a 70° slope. The optional EP2020 inner panel is 18.20 x 18.20 in and installs on the collar studs provided.
Wall mounting holes are 0.50 in diameter on 18.50 x 18.50 in centres, and the included hardware kit contains panel mounting nuts and sealing washers. A mounting foot kit is required to maintain UL/CSA external mounting requirements. Bonding and grounding studs are provided on the door and body.
The ST202012SS is rated UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12, complies with NEMA 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66, and ships boxed at 45 lbs (20.41 kg).
