Hammond SHV031039 150W Control Panel Heater Fan, 80 mm, IP44

The SHV031039 is a 150 W heater fan in the SHV Series of control panel heaters, the higher-output of the two models built around an 80 mm fan. It is designed to protect electrical enclosures in industrial and control panel applications from condensation and temperature fluctuations, especially where larger heating capacity or forced air circulation is needed and space is limited.

The heating element is a cartridge heater in a die-cast aluminum heat sink. An included 80 mm (3.15 in) ball bearing axial fan, 25 mm (0.98 in) deep, provides 20 CFM of airflow and is required for safe operation. A built-in temperature limiter guards against overheating. With the fan, the temperature maximum is 320°F/160°C. The fan has a durability rating of 30,000 hours at 68°F ambient.

On AC 120 V (series operating voltage AC 110-120 V, 50/60 Hz), the SHV031039 draws 1.3 A. A 5 pole terminal accepts up to 14 AWG, with G/L1/N1 serving the heater and L2/N2 the fan.

The heater clips onto 35 mm DIN rail (EN 60 715) with the included clip and is rated for an operating temperature range of -49 to 158 °F (-45 to 70 °C). It is IP44 and Protection Class 1 (tested for grounding at 1250 V), approved as a UL Recognized Component and cUL Recognized Component with CE marking, and RoHS and REACH compliant. Shipping weight is 1 lb (0.45 kg).
