Hammond SDC6UVD 6U 63% Vented Locking Door for SDC Cabinets

The SDC6UVD is a 6U vented locking door made exclusively for use with the SDC Series wall mount cabinets. It is intended for IT, AV and facilities installers who need a secure, airflow-friendly front closure on a small wall-mounted rack holding switches, patch panels, media converters or AV gear that benefits from passive ventilation.

The door panel is constructed in 16-gauge mild steel and finished in a textured RAL9005 black powder paint coat that complies with the Greenguard guidelines for indoor air quality. As the vented option in the SDCD door family, it uses a 63% vented pattern to let heat escape the enclosure while keeping the equipment behind a closed, lockable barrier.

SDC6UVD ships as a complete kit: the SDC vented door panel, a door hinge, and a keyed offset cam lock (quarter-turn lock, ZP/1427BK) for mounting to the cabinet. Mounting hardware is included, so the door installs into an SDC Series cabinet without additional parts. A 0.31 in x 2.81 in slot is provided in the panel per the part drawing.

Nominal size is 11.75 in x 24.59 in x 0.5 in (298 mm x 625 mm x 13 mm) with a shipping weight of 6 lbs (2.72 kg). The part is RoHS and REACH compliant, USMCA compliant, TAA-compliant for GSA Schedule purchases, and manufactured in North America (country of origin CA).
