The SDC6UCFP is a 6U conduit/fan cover panel designed exclusively for use with the Hammond SDC wall mount cabinet series. Instead of a hinged door, this non-door option mounts directly to either end of the cabinet, giving electricians, IT and AV integrators and facilities teams a clean, factory-made way to bring conduit and cooling into a wall mount enclosure.
The panel is constructed in 16-gauge mild steel and finished in a textured RAL9005 black powder paint coat that complies with the Greenguard guidelines for indoor air quality. Overall size is 12.65 in x 24.59 in x 0.5 in (321 mm x 625 mm x 13 mm) and shipping weight is 6.5 lbs (2.95 kg).
Pre-punched conduit knockouts are provided in pairs at Ø0.875 and Ø1.125 in, Ø1.375 and Ø1.750 in, and Ø2.00 and Ø2.50 in, so a range of trade conduit sizes can be terminated without field drilling. Cable lances and a fan cut out are also included, with optional fans DNMF100AC115 and DNMF100AC23 listed on the drawing for forced-air cooling.
Each SDC6UCFP ships as one conduit/fan panel with four rubber bumper feet and the mounting hardware required to install it into the SDC series. The part is RoHS and REACH compliant, USMCA compliant, TAA-compliant for GSA Schedule purchases, and manufactured in North America (country of origin CA).
