Hammond SDC9UD 9U Solid Locking Door for SDC Cabinets

The SDC9UD is a 9U solid locking door built exclusively for use with the Hammond SDC Cabinet Series. It gives IT, AV and facilities teams a way to close off a 9U SDC wall mount enclosure so that patch panels, switches and terminations are shielded from casual contact, dust and tampering in offices, classrooms, retail spaces and light industrial rooms.

The door panel is constructed in 16-gauge steel and finished in a textured RAL9005 black powder paint coat, a finish that complies with the Greenguard guidelines for indoor air quality. The assembly ships as a complete door kit: the SDC solid door panel, the SDC lock box door hinge and a keyed offset cam lock (ZP/1427BK), so the door can be hung on either end of the cabinet opening with the included mounting hardware.

Overall size is 15.75 in x 24.59 in x 0.5 in (400 mm x 625 mm x 13 mm), with a shipping weight of 9.4 lbs (4.26 kg). The drawing also shows a 17.17 in (436 mm) front dimension and a .77 in (20 mm) top view offset. Because it is a solid panel rather than a vented one, SDC9UD suits installations where equipment heat loads are modest or where cooling is handled elsewhere in the cabinet.
