Hammond SDC3UD 3U Solid Locking Door for SDC Cabinets

The SDC3UD is a 3U solid locking door designed exclusively for use with the Hammond SDC wall mount cabinet series. It gives IT, AV and facilities teams a way to close off a 3U SDC cabinet so that patch panels, switches and terminations are secured behind a keyed door rather than left open to the room.

The door is constructed in 16-gauge steel and finished in a textured RAL9005 black powder paint coat. Per the SDCD series data, this finish complies with the Greenguard guidelines for indoor air quality, and the part is RoHS and REACH compliant, USMCA compliant and TAA-compliant for GSA Schedule purchases. Material is mild steel and the part is manufactured in North America (country of origin CA).

Overall size is 6.5 in x 24.59 in x 0.5 in (165 mm x 625 mm x 13 mm), with the drawing showing a 24.59 in / 625 mm width, a 6.67 in / 170 mm side dimension and a .77 in / 20 mm top-view dimension. Shipping weight is 4.1 lbs (1.86 kg).

SDC3UD ships as a complete door assembly: the SDC solid door panel, the SDC lock box door hinge and a keyed/offset cam lock (ZP, 1427BK), each supplied in single quantity. Mounting hardware is included, and the door installs into the SDC series using that included hardware along with the quarter-turn lock and hinges that mount to the cabinet.
