Hammond RZ0269C 200x120x75 mm Polycarbonate IP65 Enclosure, Clear Lid

The RZ0269C is a light gray polycarbonate RZ Series water-tight enclosure fitted with a clear polycarbonate lid and designed to meet IP65. Polycarbonate is the RZ material suggested for outdoor use, making this part a fit for engineers and integrators who need to protect a PCB or DIN rail mounted components outside, while keeping indicators or displays visible through the lid.

Its 200 x 120 x 75 mm body is a long, deep format that accepts a PCB of up to 191.09 x 111.09 mm with 68.50 mm of inside height. Overall size is 7.87 in x 4.72 in x 2.95 in (200 mm x 120 mm x 75 mm); the drawing gives an inside height of 68.50 mm [2.70 in] and an inside width of 112.01 mm [4.41 in].

The lid uses a gasketed, two-piece tongue and groove construction that protects against the entry of oil, dust and water. Lid screws are self-captivating: the lid holes are threaded the first time the screws are installed. For wall mounting, the through box-blind hole construction places the mounting holes outside the gasket perimeter, so fixing the box to a wall does not breach the seal.

The purchased assembly includes the box, lid, string gasket, 4 PCB screws and 4 lid screws; PCB bosses accept M3 self-tapping screws and the recommended lid screw torque is 43-50 ozf.in (30-35 cN.m). The polycarbonate material carries a UL94 V-2 flame rating with a temperature range of -40 °C to +130 °C, and the part is RoHS and REACH compliant. Replacement gaskets are sold as RZ0373GASKET (2-pack).
