Hammond RZ0250C 52x50x35 mm Clear Lid Polycarbonate Enclosure

The RZ0250C pairs the smallest RZ Series body with a clear polycarbonate lid, so status LEDs, small displays or indicators on the board stay visible while the enclosure is closed. It measures 2.05 in x 1.97 in x 1.38 in (52 mm x 50 mm x 35 mm) and suits compact sensor nodes, indicator modules and small electronics that need a sealed housing.

The light gray (RAL7035) body is polycarbonate with a smooth surface, a UL94 V-2 flammability rating and a -40 °C to +130 °C temperature range; polycarbonate is suggested for outdoor use. A two-piece tongue & groove gasket seals the lid against oil, dust and water, and the design is intended to meet IP65. Self-captivating lid screws thread their holes on first installation, and the assembly uses corrosion resistant hardware.

Internal dimensions are 30.00 mm [1.18 in] high and 43.61 mm [1.72 in] wide. Boards up to 44.77 mm x 42.77 mm mount on internal points that accept M3 self-tapping screws. Wall-mounting holes sit outside the gasket perimeter thanks to through box-blind hole construction.

RZ0250C ships in a bag at 0.11 lbs (0.05 kg) with the box, clear lid, string gasket, 4 PCB screws and 2 lid screws. Tighten to (43-50) ozf.in / (30-35) cN.m. Replacement gasket: RZ0362GASKET. The part is REACH and RoHS compliant, UPC 623980745596. The solid-lid version is RZ0250.
