Hammond RZ0214C 171x121x55 mm Clear Lid Polycarbonate Enclosure

The RZ0214C is the mid-size 171 mm x 121 mm x 55 mm (6.73 in x 4.76 in x 2.17 in) RZ Series enclosure with a clear polycarbonate lid. The larger window over the board suits HMI panels, status displays and multi-LED controllers where the electronics must be visible yet sealed.

The light gray RAL7035 polycarbonate body has a smooth finish, a UL94 V-2 rating and a -40 °C to +130 °C temperature range; polycarbonate is suggested for outdoor use. A two-piece tongue & groove gasket seals the lid against oil, dust and water, and the enclosure is designed to meet IP65. Self-captivating lid screws and corrosion resistant hardware are used throughout.

Inside dimensions per the drawing are 49.00 mm [1.93 in] high and 113.72 mm [4.48 in] wide. Boards up to 162.87 mm x 112.87 mm mount on internal points that accept M3 self-tapping screws, and DIN rail mounted components are also supported. Wall-mounting holes sit outside the gasket perimeter through box-blind hole construction.

RZ0214C ships bagged at 0.71 lbs (0.32 kg), including the box, clear lid, string gasket, 4 PCB screws and 4 lid screws. Recommended torque: (43-50) ozf.in / (30-35) cN.m. Replacement gasket: RZ0313GASKET. REACH and RoHS compliant; UPC 623980745640. RZ0214 is the version without the clear lid.
