Hammond RZ0212C 115x90x55 mm Clear Lid Polycarbonate Enclosure

RZ0212C is the 115 mm x 90 mm x 55 mm (4.53 in x 3.54 in x 2.17 in) RZ Series enclosure with a clear polycarbonate lid. Its wider body suits compact controllers or display boards, and the transparent lid lets operators read meters, LEDs or screens through the cover.

The light gray RAL7035 polycarbonate body has a smooth surface, a UL94 V-2 flammability rating and a -40 °C to +130 °C temperature range, and polycarbonate is suggested for outdoor use. Two-piece tongue & groove gasketing seals the lid against oil, dust and water, and the enclosure is designed to meet IP65. Self-captivating lid screws thread their holes the first time they are installed, and hardware is corrosion resistant.

Inside, the drawing shows 49.00 mm [1.93 in] of height and 83.36 mm [3.28 in] of width. Boards up to 107.43 mm x 82.43 mm mount on internal points that accept M3 self-tapping screws; the mounting design also covers DIN rail mounted components. Wall-mounting holes are outside the gasket perimeter via through box-blind hole construction.

Each RZ0212C ships in a bag at 0.42 lbs (0.19 kg) with the box, clear lid, string gasket, 4 PCB screws and 4 lid screws. Tighten lid screws to (43-50) ozf.in / (30-35) cN.m. The replacement gasket is RZ0311GASKET. REACH and RoHS compliant; UPC 623980745633. RZ0212 is the version without a clear lid.
