Hammond RZ0214 171x121x55 mm IP65 Polycarbonate Enclosure

The RZ0214 is a mid-size RZ Series water-tight enclosure at 6.73 in x 4.76 in x 2.17 in (171 mm x 121 mm x 55 mm). It gives a generous board area in a relatively low 55 mm profile, ideal for control boards, gateways and I/O modules that need a sealed housing, including outdoor locations suggested for polycarbonate.

Made from light gray RAL7035 polycarbonate with a smooth surface, it is rated UL94 V-2 with a -40 °C to +130 °C temperature range. The lid is gasketed with two-piece tongue & groove construction to protect against oil, dust and water, and the enclosure is designed to meet IP65. Lid screws are self-captivating and all hardware is corrosion resistant.

The drawing lists 49.00 mm [1.93 in] of inside height and 113.72 mm [4.48 in] of inside width. P.C. boards up to 162.87 mm x 112.87 mm fit on internal mounting points that accept M3 self-tapping screws; they are also designed for DIN rail mounted components. Wall-mounting holes lie outside the gasket perimeter using through box-blind hole construction.

RZ0214 is bagged at 0.71 lbs (0.32 kg) and includes the box, lid, string gasket, 4 PCB screws and 4 lid screws. Recommended torque is (43-50) ozf.in / (30-35) cN.m. Replacement gasket: RZ0313GASKET.
